Delphi techniques to find consensus in the health sciences. A methodological reflection (DEFLEX)
Delphi techniques are used in the health sciences particularly to establish consensus. How Delphi studies are carried out varies widely; in some cases, errors in the statistical analysis can be found. This DFG-funded project (project number 516628412) aims to develop methodological quality standards and guidelines for Delphi practitioners when conducting Delphi studies. This research project includes several methodically different sub-studies that examine the entire Delphi process from different perspectives. It receives scientific guidance from DeWiss, the academic network dedicated to Delphi techniques.
Ph.D. students Jessica Dieudonné (M.Sc.) and Julia Schifano (née Spranger) (M.Sc.) serve as research assistants on this project, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Marlen Niederberger.
