Working group 3: Reporting Guideline

The DeWiss network's working group 3 has set for itself the goal of developing a reporting guideline, agreed upon by experts, for publishing Delphi studies.

Reporting guidelines help to structure academic papers and reports that present findings from studies with specific designs and, thus, increase transparency and comprehensibility of the reported results. Reporting guidelines are firmly established especially in the health sciences.

Numerous guidelines for specific designs have already been developed and can be viewed at https://www.equator-network.org.

When developing the reporting guideline, the Delphi method itself was applied as a method. This project is known as "DELPHISTAR - Delphi studies in social and health sciences - recommendations for an interdisciplinary standardized reporting." Additional information can be found here:

The reporting guideline for Delphi Studies (DELPHISTAR) is now available in English and German on the EQUATOR Network!
